NANA ADOMAKO KUFFOUR (MBA, MPHIL, B.A)

BOARD CHAIRMAN

Nana is a self-motivated business executive with over 13 years Investment Banking experience. Nana took on the challenge of the corporate world and has played various roles in trade finance particularly Oil and Gas and in commodities in general.

He enters this esoteric world of high finance from the military and intelligent operations perspective. Having worked as attaché to the office of the president from 2002 to 2009, as a permanent member of the revenue agencies governing body, Head of the Economic & Financial Intelligence Unit as well as monitoring financial traffic at the anti-money laundering unit.

He has proven ability to achieve and exceed all targets and business developments goals in a highly pressurized environment with a reputation for advancing effective business development campaigns, leveraging personal strengths, and expertly maintaining client relationships.

Nana has equally proven leadership and team building skills coupled with comprehensive knowledge of and experience in leveraging numerous financial instruments in a variety of complex scenarios. He also worked as a Business Development Consultant and a Management Consultant for Sight for Africa (NGO) for 5 years.

He holds an International Diploma in Computing Information Studies from London Guildhall University and a Diploma (Public Administration), BA (Public Administration) all from GIMPA and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Leicester (UK) and an MPhil in Industrial Finance and Investments from the KNUST.

Nana is the board chairman and executive director of Sitra Energy Limited. He plays a dual role of overseeing the activities of the board and further ensures the implementation of strategic objectives of the company. He believes that success isn’t always about greatness, but it is about consistency.

BAWA ABDALLAH ABUBAKARI (B.COM)

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Bawa is the director in charge of operations at Sitra Energy. He is dedicated and committed professional who has enormous experience in the operations of oil marketing business. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Dukes Petroleum as Liaison Officer at the Kumasi depot from January 2013 to December 2014. He was promoted to the position of Internal Auditor at the same company from December 2014 to December 2015.

From January 2016 to April 2020, He worked as a dealer and operations manager for Blanko Oil Company Limited. Between 2015 and 2016 he served as part-time finance manager for Hossana Oil Company Limited. From April 2020 to date, he has served as the Northern Regional Manager for Sitra Energy Limited and further serves as board member for Yass Petroleum Limited. With over 15 years of experience and exposure in the downstream, Bawa is focused on contributing his quota toward building the Sitra brand into becoming a fully-fledged licensed oil marketing company in Ghana. He is a founding member as well as board member of Yass Petroleum Limited.

MOHAMMED JAMAL ABDULAI (MBA, BSC)

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mohammed Jamal Abdulai is an energy and business development expert. He is the Managing Director of Sitra Energy Limited, one of the prospective and fast-rising oil marketing companies in Ghana. He holds an MBA with specialization in Finance from the University of Cape Coast and has over a decade of experience in the downstream oil sector.

He began his career as a station supervisor at Unique Oil in the year 2005 and worked for a period of five years before proceeding to AP Oil and Gas Ghana Limited as a station manager in 2010. While at AP oil and Gas, by dint of hard work and dedication, he was promoted to the position of zonal operations officer for a period of two years.

In 2017, he was employed by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) as Depot Officer under the UPPF Monitoring Scheme for a period of three years. In 2020, he was engaged by Santol Energy Limited as Operations Manager overseeing the activities of the various filling stations across the country. In 2021, he was engaged as a consultant to Viggo Energy and Yass Petroleum and has served in that capacity to date. He is a founding member as well as board member of Yass Petroleum Limited.
Overall Jamal’s experience and learning journey has built him into a consummate professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who is committed to building Sitra Energy to become one of the vibrant oil marketing companies in the country.

As a managing director, he exercises oversight responsibility of day-to-day activities to ensure that they fall in line with the overall objectives of the company.

JOSEPH G. MENSAH (B.COM/ACCA/MBA)

FINANCE MANAGER

Mr. Mensah is a qualified accountant with over 12years working experience. He holds Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Coast and pursuing MBA (Finance) at University of Ghana Business School. He also holds ACCA qualification. Prior to Sitra Energy Limited, Joseph worked as financial accountant at Sephem Oil Company Limited from 2013 to 2018. At the time of joining the Sephem, the company had taken a downturn and almost at the verge of shutting down. With my initiative and dedicated team, we were able to turn things around for the company within shortest possible time.

In 2019, he was engaged by Viggo Energy Limited, a newly formed oil marketing company, as head of finance of the company. Together with his team, they worked tirelessly and within a year, the company was able to obtain its Oil Marketing License from National Petroleum Authority. The sales revenue tripled within the first year of his engagement and quadrupled in the second and third years. Today, Viggo Energy is a licensed oil marketing company which is gradually gaining feet in the oil industry.

At Sitra Energy Limited, Joseph he brings onboard his rich knowledge and experience in Financial Management to bear towards achieving the company’s financial objectives. Together with my team, we are very positive the company will become a household name in the downstream in the near future.

MOHAMMED JAMAL ABDULAI (MBA, BSC) – MANAGINSAMUEL FIIFI YEBOAH (B.A, DSE-P.G)

GENERAL MANAGERG DIRECTOR

Fiifi is the General Manager of Sitra Energy Limited. He holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Ghana and Post-graduate Diploma in Software Engineering from IPMC College of Technology.

Fiifi began his career as an intern from June to August 2012 at Nestle Ghana Limited where he was assigned as assistant to the sales supervisor. He was engaged as Travel Officer for Wi Tech Travel and Tours from October 2016 t0 December 2017. He organized tours within the country and marketed tours and travel promotions.

In January 2018, he was appointed as the managing director of Silver Picks Ghana Limited. He took up the role and turn the fortunes of the company within a space of two years. From there, he moved on to PE Solutions in September 2018 where he worked as administrative manager of the company for a period of eleven months.

In November 2022, he was engaged as the administrative manager for Westmount Energy Limited. He worked for one year after which he was engaged at Sitra Energy in 2023 as the General Manager. Fiifi is a fast thinker, a go getter and possesses good problem-solving skills.

OSMAN ABDUL-NASIR (MBA, B.COM)

SECRETARY

Osman is a performance oriented professional with proven track record and versatile work experience offering high dedication to organizational development.

Having obtained Bachelor of Commerce degree and MBA-Finance all from the University of Cape Coast, comes onboard with rich experience in administration of the company.

He began his career as a teacher at Gbambaya T.I Ahmadiyya Primary School where he taught all subjects at the basic level for five years (from 2006 to 2011).

From October 2014 to June 2017 he was engaged as accountant of Rikogha Company Limited where he performed basic duties of an accountant in the company. From August 2017 to May 2019, he was engaged as the general manager for Ghana Standards Authority Co-operative Credit Union, where he was in charge of the general administration and operations of the Union.

From 2021 to date he has served as the secretary of Sitra Energy Limited. He is loyal, dedicated and committed young man who works effortlessly toward achieving the goals of the company.
